Widening Horizons Challenge & Support Project | Auckland Youth & Community Centre | AYCC

Welcome to our Challenge & Support Project

The Challenge and Support Project (CSP) is one branch of the Widening Horizons Project, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. The CSP is aimed at young people aged 10-16, delivered through the Youth Club and the Girls Friendly Society. The CSP runs on Wednesdays and Fridays 5-8pm.

The CSP aims to improve the health and wellbeing of young people, by providing opportunities to develop skills, including social skills, and confidence.

The Girls Friendly Society is aimed at girls aged 10 – 14 years. It usually runs on a Wednesday evening from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. These sessions are designed for girls to have fun, meet new friends and learn new skills, with a view to developing their emotional well-being, self-esteem, confidence and resilience.

Our team are continually seeking feedback from young people to ensure we are providing the necessary support during this difficult, challenging and unusual time. Please contact us to enquire more about the CSP and how it is being delivered at this time.
