Health and Wellbeing
We are providing an increasing number of sessions to support people’s health and wellbeing. These include fitness sessions, cookery courses and activities with a number of external partners to help improve the physical and mental health of local people.
We have fitness classes three mornings a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:15 to 10 am.
We hold healthy cooking and “cooking on a budget” sessions with local partners to help encourage people to live a healthier lifestyle whilst also saving money.
We support local people’s wellbeing in many ways working for example with local mental health charities and hosting sessions designed to give support and encouragement to many different groups and individuals.
We also help people who are in times of financial difficulty or other crisis by providing support, advice or sign-posting to other organisations on matters including poverty, debt, hardship and bereavement.
